On this cloudy day in Estes Park the Stanley Hotel loom ominous this time of year. Even though its not near
as beautiful as a shot when everything is in full bloom the browns and beiges create some good contrast no work with, not to mention the winter cloud cover. I took this shot with a new lens I just picked up, a Nikkor 70-300. Which went mounted on my D90 bumps it up to 450mm. I pulled in by the power plant on the south side of Lake Estees and zoomed that puppy out all the way managed to get this HDR shot. I have been impressed so far on its image stability help it gives as well as the image qaulity.
